Zadok Judd and Mary Minerva Dart Judd were present during many of the foundational events of the restoration. Zadok served in the Mormon Battalion, and Zadok and Mary were Church pioneers in various settlements in southern Utah and Nevada. They eventually settled in Kanab, Utah and participated in the Kanab United Order. Zadok also served as a missionary to the Navajo and Hopi tribes with Jacob Hamblin.
